| Comment: I very much enjoyed my stay in July at the Majestic Hotel. I had a lovely, spotless room overlooking Tramore Bay. The cooked breakfast was excellent and plentiful including a choice of cereals, fruits and juices and the staff was very helpful and attentive. While I did not have an evening meal in the restaurant the prices seemed very good value. The lobby was attractive and well appointed, an indication in my experience of what the overall standard of a Hotel will be like. The lobby also included a computer with internet access and a well-stocked display of brochures on things to do and places to see both locally and in surrounding areas. The bar/lounge was clean, spacious and well run with good quality bar food at very reasonable rates. Attached to the bar was a lovely beer garden overlooking the sea. It was very relaxing to sit there reading the papers over a morning coffee or with a drink in the evening. There was music nightly in the bar from Thursday through to the weekend. Some family, friends and I spent an enjoyable evening in the bar/lounge on one of the music nights and the prices of drinks compared very favourably with other Hotel prices. For just €5 guests can avail of the facilities of Splash World directly across the road from the Majestic which includes swimming pool with a wave machine, water slides, Jacuzzi, steam room etc, and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk away from the Hotel. Overall my stay at the Majestic more than met my expectations as regards value, service and ambience and the mix of foreign and Irish guests that I met while staying there added to the experience. I have already recommended the Majestic to friends who now plan to spend a weekend break there and I look forward to returning again. |

| Comment: It was more than we had expected - all good! The receptionist was outstanding...friendly, helpful, kind. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed - as was the bathroom. Good location |

| My friend and I stay in the majestic hotel for two nights The hotel itself is lovely. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Maureen who served us when we were dining was particularly pleasant and helpful. We had a magnificent view of the beach.We can not fault this hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. My friend and I will definitely be returning to the Majestic |

Dear Mark and all the staff at the Majestic, Thank you all for giving us a wonderful day on August 13th 2010. Our civil ceremony was relaxed, just as we wanted! Any wedding, no matter the size, has a large number of people working behind the scenes to make sure it's all smooth. We really appreciated the effort and hard work by those involved throughout. Mark Whelan was especially helpful, he was our first point of contact. If there were any dramas on the day, then we didn't know about them! Our thanks and appreciation to the kitchen staff who prepared a fantastic meal and the waiting staff who were pleasant and professional.
It was a small wedding with 53 guests, but the Garden Room was arranged to feel cosy and comfortable. Our memories of the day is that it was relaxed, fun and happy! Just as we wanted. We can't recommend the hotel highly enough, thank you all.

We visited many hotels in Waterford and County Waterford and the Majestic was one of the cleanest and most modern hotels we visited. The staff were exceptional, including Mark who we dealt with mostly. We wanted to have a civil ceremony followed by the usual wedding meal. Mark went out of his way to accommmodate us as we had a large party of nearly 170, including children. Mark liaised with the Marriage Registrar and we had the pleasure of having our ceremony looking out across the lake and the sea; it was perfect in every way. The meal for the wedding was absolutely lovely, very generous portions. The room was laid out to perfection, which is thanks to Maureen. We had visitors from both Ireland and the UK and everyone was happy. We had a large group for a meal the following night and the food was even better than the previous night. It's not many places you get handmade chips nowadays; I think all hotels should ban frozen foods! The room was very nice and exceptionally clean. Our children were accommodated by the more than friendly staff. Our wedding day was perfection and the stay was an absolute pleasure. I don't think you could find nicer more friendly staff anywhere, including the night porter. Room rates were very reasonable and affordable. Many many thanks to Annette and the staff in the Majestic, a pure pleasure.

My wife & I are extremely pleased to have been guests in this hotel. the courtesy shown by all the staff is more then satisfactory. My wife had a very good vegetarian meal at short notice.The front desk night manager Mr Williams went out of his way to get us a phone charger in our time of need. We have just stayed at your hotel on a tour as a stage of our travelling when energy levels have dropped and in particular when spirits were a bit down because of the recent horrific weather!!!
Just to let you know that all of us (but particularly myself the Tour Director) felt most welcome in your hotel. The Reception staff are extremely accommodating, and a new girl whose name I don’t recall. Porterage was very efficient and the food excellent.
You are a true example to all hotels.
Don’t ever lost that personal touch! A lot of hotels start out well and then become too clinical in their operation.
